This cemetery is very well taken care of . There are some very important people of the past history of
Henry County buried in this cemetery. Thomas Cook who served in the American Revolutionary War
is buried here and his grave was marked by the D.A.R in 1962. There is a Dr. William Gilbert buried
here who served in the CSA as a Surgeon at NC Hospital. There is also a Benjamin E. Cardin Co.
D GA Inf. CSA buried in the back of the cemetery. This cemetery is between Kelleytown and
Whitehouse in the Chaffin settlement. It is in no danger at this time.
