Towaliga Indian Graves Luella Area In the area of where the Cole Res. Was created  on the Towaliga River in extreme Southern Henry County were the graves of several Creek Indians.  The site was found In the early 1990’s and archeologists surveyed the area for the Army Corps of Engineers Before the lake could be built.  Many remains were found and removed as well as Artifacts of the Creek Indians and some predated them.  These graves are lost to the Lake but the remains were moved by the State of Georgia to another location.
