There are a small number of Creek Indian graves between Panola Mtn and the
South River on the east side of the mountain in Rockdale County. This used to
Be Henry County. The graves are still a part of the Panola Mtn State Park and
Are protected by the State of Georgia if the rangers know their locations.
The graves are covered by granite stones from the mountain.
