150th Anniversary For Henry County in 1971
The brochure enclosed below describes how the people of Henry County funded the 150th Anniversary of Henry County in 1971. It was a celebration of the history of
Henry County and the future ahead of them. The people planned and coordinated the event very well which took place in August 1971. The goal in working capital for the event was only $6,000 which was to be garnered by selling shares at $1.00 per share.
The community came together well to bring about an event they could be proud of.
