In the town of Milner, GA during the Civil War there was a Confederate Hospital located near the northern city limits of Milner along old Hwy 41. There is a marker showing where the site is along the road. The cemetery for the hospital is located east of town. To find it go out Liberty Hill Rd to the intersection with Old Alabama Rd and the cemetery is behind the house at the intersection. There are approximately 107 graves in
The cemetery. Many of these soldiers were from the Battle of Atlanta. The Georgia Building Authority maintains the site and it is in excellent condition.
