Cemetery in the Fairview Community

In the past few months the Fairview Gardens Cemetery in the Fairview Community
has been the scene of some very costly vandalism. Approximately 500 of the brass
urns for flowers have been stolen over three occasions begining in April 2008.
This type of activity is very unnerving to the family members who have loved ones
buried at this cemetery. The police according to the 11-Alive TV news report are
stepping up watch of the cemetery. The owners of the cemetery said they would
replace the urns which will help with some of the pain of having a loved ones grave
vandalized. If you see anyone committing vandalism at this cemetery please call
the police and report this activity.
